I love that I will continue my Ambassadorship with Stonewear Designs even through this pregnancy. While not everything fits nearly as well as it used to, there are a few key pieces that continue to be great. Which is awesome because this season is my absolute favorite when it comes to Stonewear…
I also join Erica of Cragmama (a fellow Ambassador) as she simultaneously posts her own top pregnancy picks (I am almost 23 weeks now along and she is 20 weeks.) We hope that these two posts will be especially valuable because we have very different body types and can speak from our own experience. While some of our picks overlap, not all of them do. Erica definitely has a longer torso than me which means that many of the tops are quickly getting short on her, but still work for me. I tend to show quicker and “all over”. Pregnancy is funny like that – it just depends on the person. BUT, everyone wants to be comfortable, no matter what!
And the best news is that between the two of us, we are giving away an entire Stonewear Designs outfit. If you have been following me for the past year and a half, you will know that this almost never happens through Stonewear so is an opportunity not to be missed! Make sure you read all the way to the bottom to enter the giveaway here and then head over to her post to finish out the “outfit”.
Finally, you’ll quickly notice that Stonewear’s pieces aren’t cheap. But, you are absolutely getting your money’s worth. It’s THE best activewear out there for women and holds up tremendously well. However, they also do “Flash Friday” deals for their newsletter subscribers. Make sure to sign up on their site so you don’t miss them!
Rockin’ Capris and Pants $70-78: Pregnant or not, this is my absolute top pick from Stonewear (and I know I am not alone in that.) They are extremely well-made, withstand an incredible amount of washing and wearing without stretching or pilling at all, are very comfortable, and have the perfect side pocket to keep your phone. They fit great right under the baby belly and continue to keep me feeling good and able to move well (AND manage to flatter to boot.)
Helix Jacket $120: My new favorite piece from the fall collection. Hands down, the most comfortable, wearable “fleece” jacket I have worn. The feminine shapes means it has enough room at the bottom to allow for the baby to grow and enough length too. I don’t think it will cover me the entire pregnancy, but a really good portion of it. Those last few weeks are just a completely different story….
Electra Tank $60: I did size up in this one to allow for all those body changes (in different areas) but continue to love how it provides great support and coverage in the bust area and a forgiving bottom allows for growth too. It comes in a bunch of different prints and solid colors this season.
Breathe Pants: Another new piece from Stonewear this fall. First of all a warning – I am 5’3″ and these pants are fairly long on me. I actually sized down from the other Stonewear clothing I own and they fit better. They are stretchy, light, flattering and comfortable. While they don’t fit under the baby as well as the other pants listed here, they are great now. I look forward to wearing them again AFTER baby too.
Meridian Capris $60: Much lighter than the Rockin’ Capris, these have a wide leg and wider waistband (with plenty of forgiving stretch) for staying comfortable through pregnancy. Great for yoga or just wearing around (though I find if I am running or being more active, they tend to fall down a bit.) I wore these every day…until it snowed….and will continue to wear them in the gym or around the house for now!
Lola Hoody $75: Another top that honestly won’t manage the whole pregnancy without a peek-a-boo, I LOVE this one and it’s still working so far. It’s just comfortable. It also has thumb holes for easy layering, is a great weight for the added 10 degrees of internal temperature most pregnant women experience and looks great out camping or at the gym AND out to dinner. The patterns this season are my favorites too, so that only adds to the charm. I will just add long tank tops or tee shirts under it as the baby grows so I can keep on wearing it….
Win a Lola Hoody!
Stonewear Designs has very generously offered the chance for one of you to win a Lola Hoody (in your choice of color and size, depending on availability). Perfect for any woman, this is my all-time favorite long-sleeve top that was just brought back this season (after apparently enough people complained it disappeared before!)
**Don’t forget to head over to Cragmama to win some Rockin’ sweet pants (or capris too… ;))**
