12 Days of Gear Giveaways Day 10: Get Mom Outside

**Check here to keep up with all the giveaways for our 12 Days of Gear Giveaways Event!**

Quick disclaimer – today isn’t JUST for moms. It’s really all about parents and kids and getting families outside. But anyone can enter!

Let’s start off this post by saying that sometimes I am a big hypocrite. I preach getting outside like crazy and then I’ll forget to go outside (or just plain refuse) when I’m feeling crazy. How does that even happen?!?! The truth is that it happens to the best of us, and is just LIFE.

If you need a little boost and are feeling frazzled, be sure to check out this from last night on Facebook and Instagram. I know I am not the only one…..

Today’s post is just my little fist bump to parents who KNOW it’s easier (at least at first) to stay in not deal with gear and fussy kids and all that jazz…..until everyone goes crazy and all it takes is a little walk around the block!

    Boba

Oh Boba, how I love thee! I have tried so SO many carriers over the years, but my Boba remains my trusty friend, especially once my kids hit 15 pounds. Pretty psyched we get to get another kiddo in one (thanks, Boba!). If you do NOT have a carrier, GO GET ONE. Yes, it’s 100% worth the investment. Happy Baby, Happy Parent….and the ability to do SO much more outside AND in!

Check out our full review of the Boba 4G here.

Boba is also releasing limited edition prints, which I love. Check out Foxen!

    Haiku Bags

Haiku Bags are another repeat here in our giveaway event, because I think they’re just about the best. The Renaissance Mama is a do-it-all bag for work, the gym, homeschool, car trips, etc. with the added plus of stroller attachment straps and a removable changing pad/diaper insert. It’s a super chic (and durable, outdoor-friendly) diaper bag that can easily switch gears when you’re past the diaper stage (that DOES happen eventually, right?!?!)

Here’s what I love about it:

    • Wide opening for easy access
    • Strap short enough to not get in the way and long enough to throw it over your shoulder
    • Tons of pockets: 2 interior slip pockets, 2 slip and 1 hidden zip exterior pocket, and 2 exterior side pockets
    • Strap on top so you can secure a yoga mat, jacket or a kid’s security blanket
    • Water bottle pockets
    • Just big enough to hold what you need without being huge
    • Like all Haiku bags, super durable, outdoor-friendly and cute designs

    Shellter

A zip-in jacket extender is one of those things that I think every pregnant mom needs for both the pregnancy AND babywearing afterwards. It allows you to continue to use your trusted jackets instead of spending hundreds of dollars on something you’ll use for a relatively short amount of time and then be done with. We love Shellter and highly recommend them! Check out our full review here.
