Best of the Stonewear Designs Spring Collection

Best of the Stonewear Designs Spring Collection + Giveaway

This is my second year of being an Ambassador for Stonewear Designs, and I continue to be extremely impressed with their offerings.  I have tried loads of different active wear, and I am convinced it is some of the very best out there for women.  This spring they have expanded their line to the Nomad Line, which  covers a more “outdoorsy” side with quick-drying and breathable fabrics that are great for hiking and travel too.

I’ve reached out to some of my fellow Ambassadors to show you some of our current favorites.  That said, it’s very (VERY) hard to just choose a few.  I know these ladies would agree!

Make sure you read all the way to the end of this post for a chance to win and where you can score a 25% coupon code (from me.)

Of all the new offerings in the Stonewear spring collection, the Turbo tank is by far my favorite! First of all, I can’t get enough of the soft, supple space-dye fabric. It’s so light and stretchy, I could almost forget that I even have it on! It’s perfect for running, thanks to the breathability and superior wicking abilities., and the extra length makes it great for wearing under a climbing harness too!

You can find Erica on her blog, Cragmama.

My favorite piece is the Lola Hoody, hands down. Soft, breathable, durable, cute!  I wear this top climbing, hiking, running, and I even wear it to work sometimes!  A close second for me is the Skipper Skort – which is a surprise because I have never really liked running skirts.  It’s not too short, but also wears well. I actually ordered a second one!

Find Terri on her blog, Rockmaven56.

My favorite piece is the Pippi Skirt. Great for every day wear, along with slipping on after a workout or just keeping cool all summer. I wear mine with leggings in the cooler months. It’s flirty, but also stays down in the wind (which is huge around here) and is uber comfortable!  Plus, it’s pretty great for those awkward post-baby months when you just want clothes that FIT and feel good.

My favorite is the Velocity Top and the Sprinter Capri. Love the super soft space-dye fabric that is extremely breathable and moisture wicking. This top is perfect for any workout but I especially need it when backpacking because it fully covers my back for a heavy bag. The Sprinter Capri is my essential piece for any work out even backpacking because it’s so lightweight and breathable. It’s my favorite running capri as it has traveled with me on many half marathon races!

My standby favorite Stonewear Adventure Outfit:  a base layer of the Shimmy Tee, the perfect-in-every-way Lola Hoody, and the Rockin’ Capri.  The Shimmy Tee has such cute gather details on the sleeve, a flattering yet roomy fit, and is made from a technical yet still cozy fabric for great comfort next to your skin.  It seems the Lola Hoody is from that same wonderful fabric, takes up zero space to tote along, and is the perfect layer piece to have on hand for added warmth or sun coverage.  And the Rockin’ Capri both looks good in the office, and offers durability and comfort for all of your outdoor play.

You can find Tami on her blog, Colorado Mountain Mom.

I enjoy the Nomad Shorts because they come down to my mid-thigh and fit comfortably: not too tight and not too loose. They also have a nice and breathable material that won’t crimp your style on hot, sweaty hikes. Besides – they have the word nomad in their name. What’s not to love?

The Nomad Capris withstand offwidth climbing well. The material definitely holds up.

I have a really bad ADHD when it comes to hiking and I see wildflowers. That cute Shimmy Tee, the perfect-in-every-way Lola Hoody, and the Rockin’ Capri that Tammy is rockin on the trail looks like the perfect spring to fall hiking outfit for this California Girl. I love, love, love quick dry fabric clothing when I hike or do an urban charity fundraising walk, especially as hot as it gets here in the summer.

  2. Climbing! And none of my capris are fitting me currently so I feel like I need to check out the rockin’ capris.

  3. Our favorite activities in the summer are definitely hiking and biking. I’m always looking for a new, comfy shirt/tank to layer and the Lyra top looks perfect for that! Thanks for an awesome giveaway!

  4. walks, jogs, and hikes with our BOB Revolution. I’d love to try the sprinter capri or the pippi skirt in black 🙂

  5. Andrea Taivalkoski

I like to get out with the family for bike rides and to run errands and I think the skirt could help me do it stylishly!

  6. The Lola hoody looks pure comfy as does the Pippi skirt. And my goodness, you could wear them for so many things! Hiking, running errands…

  7. I love visiting the local flower gardens and I’d love to wear the Lyra Dress in Rhubarb

  8. Hiking is my all time favorite activity, but the beach is great this time of year, and the Pippi skirt looks like it is great for both! Pistachio is my favorite–both the color and the name–so cute!

  9. The sprinter capri would be perfect for me! I have been on the lookout for the perfect layer for spring and fall, and that looks like it. I too love skirts for their forgiving nature and the ease with which one can pee in the woods while wearing a sleeping child, but my closet is full of skirts. What I need is a pair of cute capri’s to wear under them to extend the season.

  10. I would love the lola hoodie! living in a ski area layers are key in winter and summer as the temps can fluctuate so quickly! this would be perfect for hiking!

  11. I love the teal Pippi skirt; I live in skirts all spring, summer and fall! They work for errands, gardening, walks in the park and just your everyday use.

  12. My favorite way to get outdoors in the springtime is to walk and run. I like the look of the sprinter capris for these purposes. I would have loved to have the pippi skirt for traveling to Cambodia last summer where modest clothing was required but the heat/humidity was over the top.

  13. My favorite way to get outside is with my toddler in comfy clothes. I want to be able to have fun with her and enjoy my self not be uncomfortable or worrying. 🙂 My favorite are the sprinter capris, perfect for wearing when we go on jogs, workout or I am out and chasing my very active toddler. 🙂

I really like the look of so many of the clothes but have to admit…I just can’t seem to break down and spend the money on myself. With 3 kids and one more on the way I love being able to get outside and take a long walk; alone would be great, however the littlest one now 3 is usually with me.

  15. Love all this wear and love hearing the ladies thoughts on their favorite piece. I’ve just recently started reading your blog more and just want to say thank you for all the goodness!!! It is fun to have other mamas out there who love their families and love sharing adventures with them… oh and great gear too. haha
