Every 6 months (depending on our own ability to travel), we get a unique opportunity to travel to Salt Lake and experience the Outdoor Retailer show. It’s overwhelming, really. Most times I spend at least a couple days walking around and never even touch the full extent of it. But, it’s a very good way to see a lot of new products coming out at once.
My time is usually spent scouring the show for the kid gear – one of these years they’ll make it much easier to find.
Some of this is available now, though most of it won’t be coming out until the fall.
Here’s a quick round-up of some of my favorites from the show:
Bergens snowsuit: New in the line-up for this great company, we have high hopes for quality pieces for kids.
Stonewear’s new line: With a more lifestyle-focus, Stonewear is coming out with what just may be my favorite line-up yet. Nice work, Cassie!!
Check out the Ninjasuit. They have them for kids AND adults. Perks include a full zip off “bum” area so going to the bathroom is easy peasy. Available in the fall in sizes starting at about 4T.
Babiator sunglasses – completely bendable and with a guarantee. They also have swim goggles and are coming out with some ski goggles in the fall (yea!!!)
Sunday Afternoon hats. I loved this one because those ear flaps can be used or folded in. It’s super warm, protects from the sun AND is versatile for cool or cold temperatures. Available this fall in a kid size too.
EcoVessel Triple Twist waterbottle for kids. Narrow OR wide mouth for drinking. Insulated with a triple wall.
We love us some MyMayu boots! Their Aquaboots (waterproof) will be coming out soon!
Super cute (and warm) Cubbies boots for infants. We put some on L and she could not get them off. Perfect for kids not walking or learning to walk.
Tenacious Tape very cool designs. For fixing all the holes in your gear and making it look even cooler.
S’Elk bags for kids in Marvel Comics cool designs. A fun summer bag – can’t wait to see what my kids think of these when we are actually camping!
Oakiwear continues to come out with some GREAT products, especially for wet conditions. Oh how we love their brand. And isn’t this new pattern (they are making their own) awesome!?!?
See anything you like?
