Christmas in July: Stay Dry and Warm

Happy (almost) Friday! Ready for one more giveaway before we break for the weekend? We are ready for the weekend so sending this one out early!

If you haven’t entered to win the previous giveaways, be sure you do that now! Some end in just a couple hours! And thanks for telling your friends – we love building this outdoor community.

This seems appropriate for me to type during a cold and wet summer evening (that happens to be very welcome after some hot days!) But, even if you’re a fan of the heat, the truth is that it won’t be THAT long until things start to cool down and get wetter out there. The giveaways for today will help you with it!

Today we are giving away:

  • PEET Advantage Dryer
  • Puddlegear Jacket and Pants set
  • Wee Woollies base layer set

A couple reminders:

  1. All giveaways are only open for 72 hours….so be sure to get entered daily!
  2. Check carefully to see if the giveaways are open to US only or include Canada (and everywhere else) too!
  3. Help us share them! You’ll note below it actually HELPS your chances of winning. And we love that it gets more families outside.

Win from PEET, PuddleGear AND Wee Woolies!

If you don’t own a boot dryer, you need one. I always sort of though they were frivolous and really not necessary, but PEET has completely changed my mind.

Not only does it mean your gear (boots, mittens, gloves) get dryer faster, they are also less stinky (PEET also makes odor eliminators) and just mean you can get out easier and more!

We have at least two dryers going every day from October – April and so they have a permanent spot in our mud room. Pssstttt…they are on sale on Amazon right now (aff link).

One lucky family will receive a PEET Advantage dryer.

2. Puddlegear

If stuck in a downpour or an all day misty rain then having great rain gear for your kids makes ALLLL the difference.

Puddlegear is heavy duty, durable toddler rain gear. It was designed by a mom who loves taking her kids sailing, hiking, and puddle-jumping in one of the wettest parts of western Canada. It is also PVC and Phthalate free AND does not “off-gas”.

Downpours and rainy days do not have to stop you from having great adventures with your kids. According to Alex (Founder of Puddlegear) there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear.

Full gear review coming this fall!

One lucky kid will receive a jacket + pant set.

3. Wee Woolies

I feel like I need to write a song about how much we use and love our Wee Woollies….but I think I’ll leave that up to my much-more-talented 5 year old.

In all seriousness, though, Wee Woollies have been worn in our home literally just about daily for the past 6 years. They are light and soft so perfect for a little more in the winter or comfortable, breathable merino in the summer. I’ll still waiting for some my size!

One lucky winner will get a base layer set.
